देखीं, इहे सहर हऽ जहंवा कूड़ा-कचरा हर गली आ हर सडक पर गद्दीदार रूप में पावल जाला जवना पऽ चलला पऽ नीमन तऽ लगबे करेला, ठेसो लागे के डर ना रहे। गद्दीदार बनावे में नाली के पानी के बड़हन योगदान रहेला। आ अइसने में माछी-मच्छर के रहे के बड़ा सुविधा हो जाला। माछी आ मच्छर से बहुत फायदा बा। खाये बेरा माछी जरूरे लगीहंऽ सऽ तऽ पत्नी सामने बइठ के पंखा झलिहें। अइसना में अदमी दू कवर जादे ही खा जाला। मच्छर राति के कान भिरी गुनगुना के जगवले राखेला जेकरा से चोर आ चोरी के भय खतम हो जाला। एने सुने में आइल हऽ कि जवन नगरपालिका रहल हऽ अब नगर निगम हो गइल बा आ निगम होते मच्छर मारे वाला मसीन मंगा लेलस बाकि मच्छर से फायदा समझते हुए ओकर उपयोग ना कइलस जेकरा खातिर नगर निगम धन्यवाद के हकदार बा।
दोसरका बात कि एहिजा बिजुली के व्यवस्था अति उत्तम बा। सउंसे सहर में बिजुली के पोल बा, पोल पर तार भी बा भले ऊ जर्जर अवस्था में होखे, बहुत सा पोल पऽ तऽ नगर निगम बल्ब भी लगा देले बा। बाहर से आवे वाला केहु इहे समझी कि बिजुली के व्यवस्था में कोई कमी नइखे। बहुत से घर में बिजुली से चले वाला कई गो सामान बा बाकि तऽ केहु ओकर उपयोग तऽ कऽ लेवे? एह तरीका से बिजुली फिजुलखर्ची पर रोक लगावेला। हंऽ, बाकि ओकर मीटर घर में बा तऽ ओकर किराया देल जरूरी बा, एह से लोग हांफत बिजुली ऑफिस पहुंच के किराया देवे खातिर बेचैन लउकेला। एह सहर के लोग किराया बाकी ना रखऽस। एगो आउर फायदा बा। आंख वाला चाहे बिना आंख वाला या रतौंधी वाला आदमी दिने-रात समान गति से बिन कवनो झुंझलाहट चाहे रुकावट के सड़क भा गली में चल सकऽता। कबो-कबो अचकके बिजुली के बल्ब जर जाला तऽ अंखिया चउंधियाये लागेला, सड़क आ गली में तऽ आदमी गिर परेला। (साभार: जागरण)

I have spent my childhood in Arrah and I remember Arrah having nice clean roads and parks.
Does anyone has any solution to fix any of this problems?
the habitants of Ara will have to be conscious about that instead of making howl that "ara is a dirty city or like that"

As I spend most of my childhood in Arrah from Nursery till 10th (Jain School 87), I have a very fond memory of Arrah. Inspite of people living much below than the so called poverty line..I never accepted that as the life had been terrific..people had a very high level of mental strength. All though the road/gali ( I hardly saw roads barring few ones) conditions were real pathetic and we had to negotiate through some of the human waste filed gali in between babu bazar to reach school, We were quite motivated to reach the Alma Matter. There were no electricity but we used to study in Kerosine lamp all night. The word complain never existed in our life. This is so bcoz we never had the taste of advanced lives which we witness today.
Today , After getting best of the education and served as top executives in various MNCs across the Globe! I am prode to say..that I was broughtup in a society, where materialism was non existant. To we have to take our whizkids to remote villages to get them sensitised to the rural population, which comes naturally to us. What I got from Ara has made me successfull in my proffessional life. I learnt, How to respect Elders, Love youngers, learnt to survive in extreme conditions with Joy, A great Jugaru.
I know this soft skills , if one has to aquire through learning process, will have to lose a fortune. Yes Ara was still filthy, dirty, chaotic,nonexistant, without electricity, and so on and so forth...But it was a great place to Lean the real lessons of the life. I wish I could put my children back to Ara time...but aghast that softness is lost and so is development. We need to seriously act on and recreate Ara of golden period when Britishers were defeted, Great Laurells were borned, Love was in the air.....Wish it happens!
